Maestro Laciura is a performing artist of the highest caliber, one of the Metropolitan Opera’s greatest character tenors; a fine musician; a superb actor and director of theater, stage and film; and an outstanding voice teacher all rolled up in one.
He has taught me, and continues to teach me the vocal technique of Bel Canto singing for my tenor voice. Maestro Laciura is consistently engaging and encouraging me, as well as all of his students, to strive for excellence; providing us with the foundation and confidence to believe in our capabilities in unlocking our true potential and vocal abilities. He is extremely passionate about his love of opera singing, performing, acting and directing; and is dedicated to teaching his expertise, craft and career experiences. I am truly blessed and fortunate to have him as my voice teacher and mentor.

Mr. Laciura is an extremely patient teacher. He is able to see tiny details in everyone and amplify their performances based on their skills. He transforms each singer's character with the music, time period, and style in mind. He is also very fun to work with.
